Nature of Uganda and its Topography

Looking for information about the nature of Uganda? Ask anybody who has ever been to Uganda. The scenery and topography say it all why Uganda is called the pearl of Africa. Come with us on this site where we will show you why the country of Uganda is the Aden of Africa.

Uganda is endowed with beautiful forests where activities such as forest/nature walks can take place. Some of the forests include; Mabira Forest, Budongo Forest, Kibale Forest, Bwindi Forest, Mpanga Forest Reserves, Uganda has often been portrayed as a land of broken dreams and dictators, but recently there is something more than that. Uganda is now a land of dignity and determination.

It is home to the famous Rwenzori Mountains, also known as the Legendary Mountains of the Moon, and to the source of the Nile in Jinja, the majestic Murchison Falls, Africa’s largest lake (Lake Victoria), tree-climbing lions of Queen Elizabeth national park, and the largest flocks of skimmers.

A travel to this East African jewel (Uganda) is a reminder of where we have come from. While here, you will be able to interact with our wild relatives – the gorillas, chimpanzees, olive baboons, colobus monkeys, vervets, black and white colobuses, and blue monkeys.

Such is the diversity of our country. Nature in Uganda Safari is as comical as it is awe-inspiring. It is for this reason that we encourage you to come and see for yourselves. As you may have noted! Many companies have a dream……but Visit Uganda Safaris has a vision – a vision forged from many years of experience creating superb tour programs to Uganda.
