The goal of our Child Sponsorship program is to facilitate a close, long-term connection between our students and their sponsors.
We hope to find a sponsor for every student and make this a cornerstone of our efforts to train leaders who will help their communities.
Healing children’s pain and creating a “heaven” where dreams come true is what L.E.A.D Uganda is all about. You may think Uganda is a place where children suffer, where AIDS and a conflict in the north amplify poverty and despair. But for one hundred-plus youngsters, Uganda must be “heaven” because it is the place where dreams come true With your help, we send them to school and give them a family. That heals them—and us.

The cost of sponsoring a child is $150 a month.
We realize this is more than some organizations require for sponsorship, but L.E.A.D Uganda does much more for our students — and they achieve more. We place our students in the top schools so they are prepared for the best universities. In addition, we buy our scholars their school uniforms and shoes, books and scholastic materials, and provide them with a high level of support, including mentoring and workshops.

What you will receive from your child.
You will be mailed a Sponsorship Kit with your student’s photo and their story. You will receive three personal letters from your student per year and progress reports from us.
