My story
“I joined L.E.A.D Uganda this year. I am 10-years-old and in 3th grade. I was born in Kirombe Village, Gulu District, in northern Uganda. My father makes drums and my mother is a tailor. The money they get helps pay our house rent, but my parents could not afford my school fees. The school was helping pay part of my fees because I was brilliant in class and a student leader. I was studying at Kirombe Primary School in Gulu.
I am glad the headmistress talked to L.E.A.D Uganda about me. I now go to school at St. John Bosco Katende. My favorite subjects are science and social studies.
When I finish school I want to become a teacher and help children in Gulu go to school and achieve their dreams. I will also build my family a big house.”
