My story
“I don’t exactly remember my mother and father because they both died when I was only 2-years-old. My grandmother told me that my father died in a motor accident, and my mother died from HIV/AIDS.
I have always been number one at school and that makes me feel special. I am in a very good school now, and I thank L.E.A.D Uganda for giving me that chance. I enjoy Mathematics and English. Math is my best subject. I will study hard to be a top student at Budo Junior. I received an A-plus on my first term midterm grades.
I loved my former school, Leo’s Junior Academy, but I think Budo Junior is better. It is more fun and I am so excited! I have made new friends like Agnes and Patricia. The school is so big. During break time we go out for games. Peter Pan is my favorite book. My favorite movie is Mr. Bean’s Holiday. I like dancing, drawing, computer games, football, and laughing.”
I want to be a medical doctor and treat people with HIV/AIDS, and also educate other children that are affected by HIV/AIDS in my village.”
Her uncle Joseph adds, “I am confident Lynette will excel no matter what. She works hard. She is remembered at Leo’s junior Academy for her academic track record in every subject. Lynette was the best student every term.”
